technically we are supposed to pay bridge tolls unless we have the 2 passengers,

but, although the sf bay bridge folks tell me that there is a fast trak transponder reader on the right hand carpool lane to sf, there isn't, so i've been cheating thanks to their mismanagement. there is one on the left side, as i discovered once when i did have the 2 passengers and my transponder beeped. to bad i didn't have the transponder in it's mylar sleeve.

oh, the stickers are great, i'll be bummed if they don't maintain the sticker system after this trial period expires.

twice a week i need to go from berkeley to sf at 5 pm. I just back track to university and cut over to the carpool lane and get to sf via the two flyovers--it's fabulous driving 50 mph past hummers going 10 mph :)

i didn't know about the free coffee at drive thru starbucks--is that anytime, or just commute hours :)

the carpool lanes on the bridge are only during commute hours m-f

on weekends, holidays and non-commute hours they are for buses only.

if you blew thru it easter sunday, you got lucky :)
